Correction. It is Windows Installer in a loop not Windows Explorer.
:
WINDOWS INSTALLER is constantly in a loop I can't get rid of. It keeps trying

Thank you. However, when I tried to install the Windows Installer Cleanup
Utility I got another error message as follows.
:Error 1500 Another installation is in progress. You must complete that
installation before continuing this one." This keeps happening and I can't
get rid of the installation dialog box.

I'm having the same problem as MineolaJohn was having and I'm not sure system
restore will help as for some reason there is now no previous restore points.
