I foolishly ignored the warnings and loaded an older

the next morning when I started my computer was a
different story.

My computer resolution was completely messed up. When I
tried to change the resolution settings nothing happened.

I immediately uninstalled Lotus but the resolution
problem is still there.

I've continued using my PC despite the problem. This
evening when I tried to start my computer the resolution
was so messed up I couldn't make out anything on the
screen.

Can anyone help and tell me what I can do to regain the
use of my PC?

If attempts to reset, under Control Panel|DISPLAY|SETTINGS, fail...try a
reload of the video drivers. The latest should be available from the chip
or card manufacturer's WEBsite. If you are unfamiliar with this process,
it's best left to someone who is.

You could try booting your computer up in safe mode and
using system restore, select a date prior to installation
of lotus smartsuite.

Have you tried "restore to a previous date", selecting a dates prior to the
installation of Lotus?
