correct arc path for a secondary drive

If I had a secondary drive with a single fat partition have the
following arc path:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Embedded"

Note, that the partition numbering start with 0.
So Second drive, first partition is:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(0)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Embedded"

Hmm, I'm confused. The TechNet website says partition numbering begins with
1, not zero:

Which says:

"The following is an example of the Multi syntax :
multi( W )disk( X )rdisk( Y )partiton( Z )
...
The first valid number for Z is 1; W, X, and Y start at 0."

Correct. Disks start with 0, partitions start with 1.
