The problem of boot drive..

Hi all
Because of some reason, the drive C: must be the network drive.
So i want to change the boot drive with D:.
And i change some settings as follow

Boot drive
D:

Windows folder
D:\WINDOWS

Program Files folder
D:\Program Files

Documents and Settings folder
D:\Documents and Settings

Boot ARC path
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)

Boot partition size (MB)
512

Partition cluster size (bytes)
512

But when the FBA start, the blue screen appears and show
"SYSTEM_LICENSE_VIOLATION".

Anyone knows?
Thanks.

Hi Kiros,
You change the Boot ARC path as mentioned below, this will fix your
problem

Boot drive
D:

Windows folder
D:\WINDOWS

Program Files folder
D:\Program Files

Documents and Settings folder
D:\Documents and Settings

Boot ARC path
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)

Nyquist,

I am a bit slow here. Could you explain how the ARC path multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2) would fix Kiros's problem?
Especially if he had only one partition on the target.

There is also a known bug that makes it throw a license violation, if the
Partition size you specify in TD is either less than or too close to equal
to the actual partition size. we have seen this before. Try telling TD your
partition is about 500MB larger than it actually is...

Hi all
Actually, i have only one partition with my CF.
So i think that the ARC path should be set to
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) .
I will try the way that Slobodan offers. Thanks, Slobodan .
And thanks all, i will keep trying.
