CorelDraw Compatibility

J

John Louis

I have been using CorelDraw 8 without problems on WindowsXP Home until
recently, but now on my new PC (P4, 3 GHz, Intel Motherboard D875PBZ
with Hyper-Threading Technology) PhotoPaint keeps on crashing.

Could this be due to Hyper-Threading or latest WindowsXP patches?

Have tried to run Corel in Windows 98 compatible mode but it is then
incredibly slow.

Corel Web site does not show any reference to my problem.

Because I am not using Corel regularly I am prepared to pay the rather
steep price for an upgrade to Version 11.

Any comments?

Post this in a Corel group - might get more info there.
