I have a slide show with an embedded recorded narrative (Which I understand
by definition to be a WAV. I want to lift the narrative as a file that I
can import into Audacity so that I can add a continuous musicbed without
having to re-record the entire (long) narrative. Any ideas?

What Karl said. But understand that you won't get one continuous WAV of
recorded narrative. It'll be one WAV file per slide.

You can no doubt edit these back together into a single narrative track with
music bed in Audacity, and you can get PPT to play it throughout the entire
presentation, but it won't synch up accurately any longer.

Thanks chaps! I guess I'm going to have to re-record the narrative!
