Howdy,

Is there a way to copy Outlook 2000 profiles from an old computer to a new
computer? I know I can grab the PST, PAB, etc files but what about the
actual profiles and their settings?

Basically looking for a way that it's transparent that you have a new
computer because all your files and profiles (with their settings) are
already there.

Don't do anything with the PAB. It's obsolete and Outlook doesn't use it
any more.

The profiles are kept in the registry. Conceivably you could export the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\profilename but you'd still need to reestablish
the account passwords manually.
