Copying Hyperlinks From Word to Windows Mail

When I create a hyperlink in word and copy it to Widows Mail, the link does
not stay live. When I copy it to a Microsoft Outlook email it works. I
use this feature often and it worked in WM previously, but not since I had a
hard drive crash and had to reinstall. Please help!

Are you copying into plain text of HTML?
