copying files to a cd, but every time it tells me that it's unable

every time i've tried to copy files onto a cd for my photos, it always tells
me that it can't and it's encountered a problem when trying to copy folder.
and if it doesn't say that it says it can't copy to cd do i want to save and
try again later or some otherstuff. what do i have to do to make my photos
able to copy to a cd?
