copying data from excel to graph in powerpoint

I have problem with transfering data from excel to data sheet of powerpoint
chart. Doing this manually (ctrl+c,ctrl+v) causes no problem. But if I want
to do this by VB code with method copy and paste, there is a problem with
unrounded numbers. Numbers with a few decimal places are pasted without
decimal point (as much greater numbers). If there was a number with exactly
one decimal position, it is transferred to chart data sheet but causes no
effect in the chart. It became visible in the chart only after activating or
clikcking on it in data sheet. Please help me
