copying conditional formatting to an entire column

I want to copy the formatting I have for one cell down the rest of the
column. How do I do that? I dont want to have to set each one up individually.

Hi Mary,
You can use the Format Painter (paintbrush toolbar icon) to change the
formatting. Used for normal cell formatting, but it copies the Conditional
Formatting, and number (/text) formatting as well.

It is best to format the entire column when you first created the C.F.
