"Copy"

When I turn my computer on I get an error message that
says Copy can not be found. I click on OK and everything
seems to work fine. But, I recently discovered that my
system is not creating any system restore points and
won't let me manually create system restore points. Is
the missing "copy" thing doing this. This is a system
that is about 18 months old and I just recently
discovered this problem. Before this, I used system
restore when needed. Any ideas?

Greetings

1. Open Regedit by going to Start>>Run and then typing regedit.

2. Then do a find for "winshow" When any key is found, delete it by
pressing the delete key. Be sure to hit the F3 (Find Next) key after
each. There are about 10 or so that need to be find. Regedit will say
"Finished Searching" when complete.

3. Repeat the same step above, but this time search for "winlink"

4. After that is done, close regedit.

5. You will then have to search for the the .dll files stored on the
harddrive. Go to search for files at c: Then search for "winshow" and
"winlink" Delete any files that you find. (Im my case I did not find
any files named winlink)

6. Restart the computer
