Most burning software should allow you to convert the format of files from your hard drive into a machine playable medium.

I've had several files converted and successfully burned via NERO so that might be worth a look. The latest offering also includes all the different burning solution that most people require.

do you want to make it into a big movie or just burn them to a DVD ?

the clips on your phone will need converting as they are as far as i know not compatible with standalone DVD players

i have some clips that are over 30 mins ,so i would like to burn more than one big disc i had nero 6, and there seemed to be some confliction with my setup. when i tried to burn a cd windows would shut down, then restart with the message this computer has recovered from a serious error, so i uninstalled it and took it back, the retalier that i got it from said this is common with xp and gave me my money back, this was a few months back now so perhaps it was just an old version is there a multi file converter that would handle my nec phone videos as well as the downloaded ones. the phone software handles mp4 wmv 3gf and asf files. gratefull for any more help

I used this one freeware. Converting other formats to DVD takes forever so take a long walk while doing it.

Cucusoft convert, DVDDecrypter

http://www.downshare.com/activeui/HowtoconvertAVItoDVD-R.htm

Site has tips on using it with Nero.

I have burner software that I payed for but I use a freeone more cause never have problems with it on any PC and it does everything I need like ISO burning.
