COPY TO CD

[Stumped]

The panel on the left "File and Folder Tasks" used to
contain an option to "Copy to CD". This function has
suddenly disappeared.

How do I restore it ?

Hi Stumped,

AFAIK, the "Copy to CD" option is listed under "Picture Tasks" when you have
selected an image file from within a folder that contains only image files,
not under "File and Folder Tasks" when you have selected any other type of
file. If the files that you want to copy to CD are not image files, after
selecting the files you would choose "Copy this file" (or "Copy the selected
items" if you choose more than one file) and then, in the Copy Items
dialogue box, you would select the reference to your rewritable drive.

Right click on your recordable CD drive in Explorer and select properties.
Make sure that the "Enable CD recording on this drive" check box is checked
on the Recording tab.

How do I restore it ?

My Computer - r-click on the CD burner drive,and on the Recording page
check 'Enable recording' and Apply. This may have arisen if you install
some third party burning software - if you do it is generally best to
leave the inbuilt burning disabled and use the other package
