Copy Tab Errors

I have an old workbook that has probably been copied and tabs moved several
times over the years. If I try to copy an existing worksheet I get a
message that says:

"A formula or sheet you want to move or copy contains the name "xxxxx",
which already exists on the destination worksheet. Do you want to use this
version of the name?"

I checked named references, deleted any other #REF! errors. There are no
external links I can find. Any thoughts on how to clear this up. It asks
me about 5 times for five different names.

Thanks!

This article may help:

It mentions XL97, and since you didn't mention your version, but stated that
you used this sheet "over the years", this might fit the bill.

Using 2000 on that machine. The article doesn't seem to apply. I tried the
copy Macro which copies the sheet, but errors out every formula, so not
really the solution.

Any other ideas? Thanks!

The names it lists I don't recognize. Here they are:
1. newrr
2. newrr1
3. wrn.cash.._.with._.Key._.stats
4. wrn.Phased._.0._.binder
5. wrn.Phased._.1.4

I use XL97 and am familiar with this problem. There are different area
that use names :-
Named Ranges (WorkBook and WorkSheet Names collections)
External Links
Chart ranges.
There might be more.

I made my own Nme Manager utility, but this is better - and free :-

Turns out this was an old Lotus 123 file, so I'll bet there are some ghost
print manager settings, etc. that are in there. So, it has gone the 123,
Excel 97 and now 2000.

Probably have to rebuild the entire file...
