Copy subtotals as values

Is there a way to copy subtotals into another spreadsheet as value
without getting all the detail behind subtotals?

When using filters, we can copy, paste as values and not get any detai
not shown under that filter. Is there a way to do the same wit
subtotals?

try the following:
- select your range to copy
- hit F5, click 'Special' and choose 'visible cells only'
- now copy and paste the data
