How do I copy and paste a screen? I.e. if I have a
folder open and want to take a picture of my desktop
and/or a folder in the desktop and paste that picutre
into Word...ctl-a doesn't work...dragging the mouse over
the area and highlighting it doesn't work. What is the
command to take a picture of it so I can then ctl-v into
Word?

Thanks!
Kathy

try ctl+print screen and alt+print screen!

If you press the Print Screen button, windows will preform a screen capture
to the clipboard. Then you can paste this into Word or a graphic
application like Paint, photoshop, so on.

PrintScrn for the entire desktop, Alt-PrintScrn for just the
active window.
