copy/paste

Hi

When I copy some contexts from *.doc and paste them into being edited
webpage, there are many long-time-ago delted contexts are also shown
in the webpage.
There're also some contexts underlined, and I cannot de-underline them
in the webpage.

Why?

It sounds like Track Changes was used in the source file and it still
contains changes that have been tracked but not *Accepted* or *Rejected*.
Get that straight first, then try again.

Assuming that the doc is otherwise as it needs to be [Word 2003 or prior],
open it, look at the Status Bar to see if the letters TRK appear in black.
If they *do* either double-click in the the letters or go to Tools> Track
Changes to turn the feature OFF. Once the letters are gray (dimmed):

Display the Reviewing Toolbar & click the right edge of the Accept Change
button & choose Accept All Changes in Document.

Otherwise you'll have to go through the doc one change at a time & Accept or
Reject each one individually, using the buttons on the toolbar.

Save or Save As when done & that should correct the problem. If using Word
2007 the process is basically the same except that the Reviewing controls
are on the Ribbon and you _may not_ have the TRK active on the Status Bar -
in fact, the Status bar may not be displayed.
