black dotted underlined items will not display on print preview?

I copy/pasted data from a web site into a Word document. Some of the data
displayed in print preview as expected other, which had underlining with
black dots, did not display. Anyone know why?

The dotted underline tells you it's formatted as Hidden text. You can
unhide it by selecting the text and pressing Ctrl-Shift-H, or
unchecking Hidden in the Format > Font panel (Ctrl-D).

You can see Hidden text when Show Non-Printing Characters is chosen,
or when the Show Hidden Text box is checked in your View options.

The dots indicate text that is formatted as Hidden. Select everything,
go to the Font dialog, and uncheck/clear the Hidden box.

Check the formatting in font area and make sure the hidden box is unticked
