Copy/paste question

I tried to highlight and copy a hidden file and it wouldn't work. I wanted
to paste the contents into a import outlook express file. What is the
secret?
 
What kind of file is this? You want to OPEN it and then copy the contents?
What are you opening it with? Honestly, the only scenario that I can
envision that matches you description doesn't involve Hidden files.
Regardless, you can temporarily remove the Hidden attribute by using
Right-click > Properties.
