I assume the Outlook Contacts (2000 SP-3) must be a file that can be copied
to a new computer. Can someone advise me on the simple - if that's the
word - process to accomplish this? Thanks.

Making certain that you can view hidden files, search for a file with a .pst
file extension. That file contains all of your messages, contacts, etc. Copy
that file onto a CD and you'll be able to copy it onto your new computer,
remove the "Read Only" attribute from the file and just open it in Outlook
on the new computer.

Thanks for the reply...will chk it out.
