Copy files to CD

For some reason I can't copy any files to CD using Windows Explorer. I get an
error message, and the options to retry, skip or cancel.
I've been using Windows Explorer to copy to CD for a while and never had
this problem. I didn't install any software or so recently...

Did you try a different CD?

Yes, I tried a different CD, also the troubleshooting didn't help in
resolving this.
The accurate error-message doesn't specify what type of problem or error:
"Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file. What do you
want Windows to do?"
....?

Do you know the CD burner is still good? Go to the manufacturer's web
site and look for any firmware updates. Remove the drive in device
manager then have windows redetect it. Move the drive to another
computer and see if it works. Try a different CD drive.

Install some 3rd party CD burning software and see if the drive works.
 
Just a shot in the dark. Is the CD burning permission in Services is it
Disabled\Stopped
 
Oddly the problem stopped occuring... Now I'm even more puzzled than before...
But I'm not complaining.
