Copy CDB (Unconverted) From Device To Desktop

I used to be able to do this using PPC2002. I upgraded my device (iPAQ
3955) to PPC2003 and now cannot move a file from the device to the desktop
using the Network Share option in File Explorer.

Here's what I used to do successfully:
1. Dock the iPAQ.
2. Run File Explorer on device.
3. Click Network Share button.
4. Enter \\[computer]\[share], then click OK.
5. Move files using cut/copy/paste.

Since upgrading to PPC2003, I am unable to connect to the desktop (or any)
share using ActiveSync. I don't recall making any special changes to
configuration to get this to work in PPC2002 and have been unable to find my
answer in the Google archives.

Is anybody doing this (moving files to/from cradled device via ActiveSync)?
If so, how?

Right now I can surf the 'Net and I can perform SQL Server replications -
all with the device cradled. However, every time I try to connect to the
public share on my desktop PC (or any share on my home network), I get an
error window saying: "Cannot connect with current connection settings."

My purpose for this right now is to move a default CDB (PocketAccess) file
to and from the desktop without converting it to an MDB file on the desktop.

Any thoughts? I do not have a network card to be used with the PPC.

Thanks.

There's a checkbox in ActiveSync under the synchronization settings (on the
PC) for file conversion. It's checked by default.

A classic "Doh!!" moment. :)

Thanks for pointing out the obvious. That fit the bill quite well.
