Copy and Pasting Dates

I have a spreadsheet and when I copy the spreadsheet and paste it my dates
are all changing? I have them formatted as dates but when I paste them that
are changing to 2005 instead of 2009
 
I usually "Cut and Insert" dates rather than "Cut/Copy and Paste for this
reason.
