Copy and Paste

Hi Folks - I can't believe I need to ask this question ... Is there a way to
copy text from Microsoft Word and maintain the font size and formatting into
a text placeholder or Text box? So far, I have turned off the Autofit
options. I've tried Paste Special, Unformatted text, and the Paste Options
button using the Keep text Only option (if it's available). PP wants to
maintain its default font size. Can't believe it's this difficult. Thanks,

Michael,
The font size applied is that of the placeholders from the master. The other
formatting will be kept when you choose 'keep source formatting' in the
paste options (the little icon you get when you paste).
If all the text in Word is formatted the same way you could edit the master
slide before you paste in your text.
