I am not sure or know how you would copy a string from a folder.
Folders hold files not text. Or do you mean that you have problems copying
strings from files in certain folders.

Check to see if the folder or file has the "read only" property set.

First, note that strings or words can be copied from and pasted to
files, and not folders.
