Copy and Paste Problems

J

Joe

I'm using Windows XP Pro with Office 2007 Enterprise Edition.

I can take a screen shot and paste it into Word but I cannot copy and Paste
from Word into Outlook Express.

I have the same problem if I use Paint as well.

I can copy and paste text into OE without any problem but not graphics no
matter where it's from but insert and attachments are OK

Any thoughts please?

Joe, I don't know that what you are seeing is "bad" behaviour but sending
the e-mail in HTML format may make it possible to add pictures to your
mails.

Please, to avoid being spammed, do not use your real e-mail address in these
posts. Change it via Tools > Accounts/News tab > Highlight this account and
click Properties button.

Thanks Ernie, but I do send my email in HTML format, but the thing that is
beating me is that I can't copy and paste graphics OE where I can with any
other program. I have always been able to do this but I recently got a new
computer and reloaded the programs and basically everything is the same as
what it was before as far as programs are concerned.

I have always used my real email address on these groups as some have
replied to me direct at times and I don't want to discourage that.
Mailwasher gives me excellent control over my email.

Any other suggestions?

Ok, you may be happy to use third party apps to get rid of stuff you never
need have got.

It seems the only way to do this picture thing is through the Insert menu.
You might try one of the OE specific groups but I do not think this is bad
behaviour.

Thanks Ernie, I feel sure that the facility is in Office somewhere and I
just need to know where it is. To buy a program and then have to install
another program to get it to work is stupid in the extreme to me.

Thanks for trying mate
