copy and paste problem

I've been copying and pasteing pictures from the net to WORD with no problem for a few months

Today I can't seem to paste any pictures. It all comes up blank, even when I tried to paste the same pictures I did before
It also seems Word thinks I have a picture pasted because when I try to exit Word with a blank screen, it still ask if I want to save the document

I also restarted the computer but it did not hel

Hi Jinx

Look in Tools > Options > View. If "Picture placeholders" is checked,
clear that box.

I notice now it does it to some picture

I thought it was all
