Water... I have used the Zalman with a decent amount of luck. Seems to cool
decent and is pretty silent.

I haev Zalman on mine 1700 Athlon, which is quite a heater, but i have two
fans (one left, on right of cooler instead original one at the top) both
running at half speed or less, so they are quite. But still with the aid of
CPUIdle i manage to get temp 35 deg at idle and 47 when full load.
Note however that very often big noise is caused by PSU fan, if PSU is some
cheap one. I demolished mine and added regulator so PSU fan is kept quiet. I
think it's better to have more fans running at half speed than one or two
running at full.
