Hi...I have a Compac desktop, running Windows 7 (upgrade from Vista) and
Explorer 8. My problem is the web pages that I go to and add to my favorites
will not remember me. Each time for instance I go to Bank of America I have
to put in all my login info again. Same with TV guide...will not remember my
zip code, although it's supposed to. Is there some sort of setting I should
have checked or something? It's really getting annoying to have to put in
the same info time after time. Thanks.

Try looking in control panel/internet options and make sure your not
automatically deleting when closing IE8.

Which, of course, would have nothing to do with FF's settings.

Make sure you don't have InPrivate browsing or filtering
enabled in the Tools menu. If that's not it, check the
various settings in Internet Options, in the Tools menu.

Oh so you're saying you can't set ff to delete your browser history on
closing huh?

Not what I said. And, of course, you've trotted out another straw man to
avoid the fact that you made a mistake. A real man would own up and
apologize.
You're sure about cody?
Well...?

Who's cody? I'm sure that FF comes with cookies enabled by default and
would solve the OP's problem.

Replied to when you posted it the first time.
