I recently installed all the updates avalable for my
winXP. I am having a problem with internet explorer, It
has something to do with cookies. When I go to certain
web sites that change with time, (Like my home page
sbcyahoo, and ebay also) the data on the page is the same
as the last time I was on the page, I have to click
refresh on my browser. Ebay prompted me that my browser
was not accepting cookies, however I never changed any. I
still have the default settings. I even manually told my
browser (in tools) to allways accept cookies on Ebay.
That didn't help. What is going on. I was going to undo
the hotfix that caused this problem however I don't know
which one did it. I installed about 16 updates that day.

Explicitly naming what sites can accept cookies can be tricky. If there are
redirects, just naming www.ebay.com, for instance, might not be enough.

If you temporarily set your browser to accept any and all cookies, does your
problem go away?

Try This go to Internet Options on the General page under Temp Int File
click on settings, under Check for newer versions of stored pages tick off
Every visit to page.
