cookies

I have not been able to register for the n.y. times..as i
have a new hard drive and had the member i.d. on it also
the password...
If my problem is not having cookies open...I do not know
how to open cookies...and it is not in my gateway book..
I hope you can help me w/ this problem as I sure miss
reading the paper on line..

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Privacy tab, click the Advanced button, set all the options accept cookies,
click OK.

Go to the General tab, click delete cookies, delete files and accept the
option to delete all offline content and clear history.

Try the site again.

If this fails, be sure you have no security software that is blocking
cookies. Norton Internet Security and some other firewall applications have
options to block all cookies be sure that option is turned off. Some
Internet Explorer add-ons such as ISP interfaces may also have such options.
Earthlink's software has such an option, hence you need to open their
browser if that is how you are accessing the web and check their options to
be sure it is not set to block cookies.
