How come I have to use ad-aware to scan spy cookies?
Microsofts Antispyware is not scanning cookies. Seems like
a huge mistake to me.

Not a mistake. Cookies are not a bad thing and in the case of the "bad"
cookies I am sure this will be dealt with. The other apps have no good way
of determining good and bad cookies and this is a downside to those apps in
my opinion.

Nonsense. The "other apps" keep a list of known
advertising/tracking sites and only remove those cookies.
They don't remove ALL cookies.

I don't wish to offend but the whole problem is the fact that they use such
a "bad list". This is not entirely efficient. I am sure everyone has seen it
wish to remove cookies that they should be keeping. Anytime I use "the other
apps":) I have had to manually tell it there were certain cookies I didn't
wish for it to remove.

I'm not saying you're wrong and I'm not getting on your case. I'm saying the
as yet, there is no real good "bad" cookie detection method as yet.
