Cookies not visible in Temp Internet Folder

I don't see any cookies in the temp folder....though they seem to be working.
I do see a separate cookie folderand the cookies are there. How do I get them
to show up with the other temp files again?

And are you going to tell us WHICH version of Windows you are using?

For Windows XP, look under your user profile for your login account to
find YOUR cookies (%userprofile%\Cookies).

Hi Mark :)

Here is a bit of information about the Cookies that might help explain:

The Cookie Concept

Cookies you want to keep - How to save or manage

If you want to be more selective about your cookie handling click the
Advanced button. Put a check in the box to over ride the automatic cookie
handling. Then select how you want to handle cookies. Don't forget to
click apply when you have selected the settings you want. The the following

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

I'm using xp sp2. The cookies are the only files not visible in the temp
internet folder.

Nope, they're not in the browser's temp file location. Look in the
location I already told you about in my prior post for where they are in
Windows XP - unless you edited the registry to change the path listed in
the "Cookie" data item under the following keys:

HKEY_USERS\<yourSID>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders
HKEY_USERS\<yourSID>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders
