Carolyn

I know this has been addressed, I've individually allowed
cookies .. put them in my trusted sites and even allowed
all cookies. I do not have a firewall running when I've
tried this... and I still cannot get my cookies to be
enabled at various sites with IE 6. I have all the
current windows updates downloaded.. please help!! ...
email my addy if someone has details on this. thanks!!

I have the identical problem. I have shut off all firewalls, tried every
imaginable combination of Privacy, cookie settings, etc. and still no joy.
Interesting that only a selected few sites are affected. Very commercial
sites like major department stores, etc.

I am the host on a network with a Win98SE which has absolutely no problem.

There is also a similar situation going on with OTHER sites - some simply
refuse to 'be found'

Sure could use some help. Tried un/reinstall ie6 - no change. Would
un/reinstall Win XP (gasp) do any good?

Is there a 'repair' option with WinXP??

Carolyn - if you come up with anything I sure would appreciate a heads up.
I'll do likewise!
Thx all -
Haz

I get a message to activate cookies on some sites, even though they are
activated, and do appear in the cookie folder. I have tried every
combination of Privacy, cookie settings, etc. to no avail . Tried
un/reinstall ie6 - no change.

Would un/reinstall Win XP do any good?
