Cookie Settings in IE6--How Many can you block?

Really, I would like to know:

Is there a limit on the number of sites you can set IE6 to
deny cookies from? I need cookies from certain sites and
hate the idea of cookies in general, so setting IE to
accept all or block all is not an option.
Any way to increase the number of sites the browser will
keep settings for? Every time I add a new site to the
block list it bumps an older one off.

There probably is a limit but I'd assume it'd be in the several-thousands.
Do you have that many?

You can "block all cookies" but enable cookies for certain sites via
Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Edit> type in domain (e.g., hotmail.com) and
Allow All Cookies.

I would say there are less than three hundred unique
addresses blocked. Any ideas about how I can stretch this
apparent limit?

Thanks.

Take the opposite approach: Block /all/ cookies by default, having IE prompt
you to accept or deny cookies for every site you visit. Yeah, responding to
the prompts during the first week or so is a pain, but pretty soon you've
gone where you're going to go and don't get any more prompts. (We are
creatures of habit, you know.)
