Cookie Problem

I have my Privacy settings at Medium yet many of the sites
which I previously had no problem accessing, now give me a
message that I have to change my settings to allow for
cookies. But I already have it set this way by default of
the Medium setting. Does anybody have any suggestions?

They may be blocked by a Firewall or some security software.
