Converting word to word perfect

How do I convert a Word document to Word Perfect so that
I can email it to user that only has word perfect. I have
XP Pro word version 5.1.

He can also receive PDF but I don't know how to convert
to that either.

Save your document as a txt or rtf file, and then send it.. I am surprised
that WP can't import an MS Word document.. I seem to remember that WP7 could
without problems..

Unless your recipient needs to modify the document, it is always preferred
to send a PDF rather than a word processing file. Here is how to make PDFs

Type wordperfect in Word's help.

Easy:
Open the document in Word, then select File/save as,
select WOrdperfecet 5.x for Windows as to format to
save...give the file a name....click Save
DONE !

WordPerfect can read Word 5.1 documents. It's much better at converting
other word processor formats than Word is, so just send them the Word file.

WP 5.1 is common to both.
