I have loads of word manuals (containing pictures) to convert to html

I realise that direct conversion of Word doc to html generates a lot of
superfluous code

Apart from this, are there any other flaws I should be aware of. i.e.

Should i simply convert them or should i import the text/images directly
into FPage?

Has anyone had to do this?

I had to do this and what I did what save as HTML in word, open the file in
FP, and then let FP clean the code. TOOLS-OPTIMIZE HTML

You might want to experiment with the Drag & Drop method into a FP page - then check the code see how clean it is.... I hear that this works ok.

Personally, I take the long road; copy/paste to Notepad, copy/paste to FP, then Import Images and insert them into design....I said it was the looonng road :-)

You can just drag the Word file from a Windows Explorer window onto an open
page in FP. It works fine. And you don't get extra code. It would appear
that the two softwares have been designed to work together.
