I've tried to convert Word and Excel docs to HTML ('Save as Webpage')
and the result usually sucks. The formatting is messed up and the
resulting webpage looks unprofessional. For a small website I would
probably just create each webpage by hand (slowly but surely). The
problem is that my boss wants me to move our *entire* 350 page
procedure manual onto an Intranet site that he wants me to create!!
d'oh! And all 350 pages of our manual were made by users with
Miscrosoft Word and Excel. I just bought Frontpage 2003 online tonight
and I'm *hoping* that it offers a better way to convert Word and Excel
docs to HTML rather than simply 'Saving as a Webpage'. ANY and ALL of
your thoughts will be greatly appreciated, as my annual review in
December is going to be based on the progress I've made. Thank you in
advance. Sincerely, -Dan
