Word Doc to HTML

It seems when I convert my word document over to HTML all the margins go,
thus my document does not look the same.
1. how do I fix the margins in HTML?
2. can I edit my document in HTML?
3. This has all come about because I wanted to use sound and animated clip
art in my document, when will word be able to display these properly and not
have to convert to HTML?

It's not a good idea, as continual advice from group members here shows. If
you want a web page, create it in Frontpage, do not convert, or copy from
another application.

Start over in Frontpage if you're making a web page. Leave Word for what it
was designed for - word processing.

To save you lots of work rewriting the word doc (which is the only good
option) you may wish to simply reference it via a hyperlink. It is
then viewable by anyone who has Word installed on their computer.

Think about #3...since Word is a word processor designed for print...

A better solution is to buy a PDF conversion program for about $40 and
convert to PDF. Everyone has a PDF reader.

I know of several people who do *not* have a pdf reader. And I know some
whose reader is so outdated, it won't read some pdf(s).

PrimoPDF is free and pretty good.
Not sure if it's a solution to KMADD's problem. One solution is not to use
Word to write HTML.

Then they probably don't know how to surf the web.

Thanks for all the tips, but clip art tells you to convert from word to HTML.
I will try the PDF, I have Adobe Acrobat Professional. I am not creating a
web page, I am creating an animated document.

What's an animated document?
What are you trying to do anyway?

Maybe PowerPoint is a better choice?

I am making an announcement with animated clip art and sound, it does not
work in word as per office clip art help. It says to convert to HTML but
when I do I lose the design format.

It should if: you're using animated .gif images, and you save it as a
webpage, and you view the page with your browser. You're not gonna see the
animation in Word .doc.
