Hi =?Utf-8?B?Q29saW4=?=,
Microsoft Word- Small business edition 2003. I need to open a .xls file within
Word. No .xls converters appear to be available. My other PC, which has Microsoft
Word 2002 performs this task fine , by after clicking on the .xls file I need,
gives me a 'Open Worksheet' box which does the trick and opens the .xls file within
word.This is due to the new security measures, and it's definitely a problem, IMO.
If you copy the worksheet content in Excel, then paste into Word you should get a
very similar result. Is it acceptable? If not, why not?
Note that if Word 2003 is installed over 2002 the converters should still be
available.
Also, see this Knowledge Base article.

If you read it, then phone MS support and tell them you have the problem covered in
the article and need the converters, they should make the hotfix available to you
(converters to download), and the support incident shouldn't cost you anything.
