Converting emails to task or meeting, appointments etc

We are in the process of converting from Groupwise to Outlook 2003. In
Groupwise you can change your mail messages to an appointment or task.

Is this possible to do in Outlook? Can't seem to find anything.

Drag the email onto the Tasks folder or the Calendar Folder. this will
open up a new item.
