I saved documents on a floppy. When I try to open them, they are in a
"foreign" language or font.

You should *never* save documents to a floppy disc or to any removable media
for that matter, as it leads to document corruption. Always save on the hard
disk and then *copy* to removable media (via Windows Explorer).

To recover the damaged document, you could try Open and Repair, but note
that you may have lost it.
