Converting documents

I have a program called Open Office.org 1.0.1 and when I save my document it
saves it with an .sxw extention. When I try to email said document most
people cannot open it(unrecongnizable), therefore I want to convert this
document to a Microsoft Word file. Can any help?

If Open Office supports rtf files, save it in rtf format as Word can read
RTF documents.

One, you should consider upgrading to v2.0x, not exactly sure whaat the
latest Version of OO is

And when you save the doc, use Save As and use one of the .doc options
in the drop down box for Save as type.

You should be able to do a Save As and that will present a dialog box that
will give you the option to save in a variety of M$ DOC formats.

When saving and then sending any file attachemet. Make sure you are
sending in a format the end user can view with an application/program on
their pc.

Save as .txt files. Just about anything can read text files.
