converting "category" list to "distribution list" in outlook

Want to populate my outlook distribution list with all (350) the contacts in
one of my category lists. Short of selecting each of the 350 individually
from my master list, is there a shorter way to do this?

There is no easy way to do this. The question is why would you? If you
already have categories established, you're far better off using those than
creating a DL. DL's are buggy and unreliable.
