Hi All,
XP Home running SP3.
I have been entering all my contacts in Outlook to what I thought was the
Windows Address Book (WAB). This was backed up from the 'My documents'
application data folder. I also backed up my outlook folder too.
Having survived a recent crash when I had to install a new disk and do a
clean install, I found out that what appears to be my Windows Address Book is
actually empty, and my contacts appear to be stored in my outlook data folder
under the format of 'Office Data File' - please note - this is NOT a PST file.
So question for all you clever people out there. How do I convert an 'Office
Data File' to PST so that I can extract my stored contacts?
Any suggestions on what I do to stop this misunderstanding happening in
future?
Regards,
Steve Wright
