Convert WMV files to import into another program

I am trying to test a program from muvee.com. I want to
use the clips I have saved on my harddrive for MM2.
Problem is, the new program won't accept WMV files and I
can't find an 'export' or 'save as' option in MM2 that
will allow me to convert my WMV files to another format.
Is there a way for me to convert my clips saved as WMV to
one of the other formats?

Yes. Within MM2, you can save your wmv file to dv-avi.

Thanks for your suggestion; however, I just want to
convert the original clips that were saved as WMV - I
haven't made a movie yet.

You don't need to make a movie: simply import you wmv file into the
collection (uncheck the "create clips" option), drag it entirely to the
timeline, and go to File > Save movie file > My computer > (choose name) >
dv-avi.
