I don't have OL 2000 in front of me, but if you go to file | import/export,
import from another program or file, I think you'll see a Lotus Organizer
5.x choice....

Hmm - well, 5.x is earlier than 97. I'm on OLXP and I have the option to
import from Organizer 4.x, 5.x and 97.

My Lotus organiser was loaded from the millennium edition of Lotus
smartsuit, and shows up as ver 5.02. Under help the edition is dated as
1991-2000 which I took to be before 97. If I attempt to import an
"organiser 97" file from outlook it does not see my files. My outlook
reads as ver 2000.and gives the options to import from ver 1.x 2.x and
97.

So what Have I done wrong??

Not sure what to say as I don't have OL2k in front of me. Can you find
someone with OLXP to try this with?
