convert linked to embedded

I have a large presentation (PP97) with a large number of linked images. Is
there a quick way to convert them all to embedded? Just to note, there is
one image per slide.

Looks like that'll do the trick.
i imagine that there's some 'manual' ways one could do it yourself ( for
some reason, my [ Edit > Links... ] pulldown is greyed out - and i imagine
this is where one would start )
but i suppose that'd be like reinventing the wheel, given that there's tools
to do it for you.

There's no manual way to fix image links other than deleting the image and
re-inserting it as embedded (or perhaps copying it then pasting back as PNG or the
